Please Pray for Southern California

Everybody please include the fires of San Diego in your prayers! As you can see from the news, plenty of people could use them. About a billion dollars of damage has been done and thousands of people have been displaced. I'm going to try and find some links where you can help the victims this weekend and post them on this blog. We recieved great news today, all of our family and friends in Southern California have been able to return to their houses. All of them are still standing, even though some of their neighbors houses were destroyed. My heart goes out to all of those people!

Drill Team

If any of you know much about me (which you probably do if you're looking around on my blog) you know that I'm on Drill. We just finished up our performances for football season, because (shocker...not) we lost again, and for the first time in 25 years, we're not in the state play-offs. Dumb! These are some of my favorite girls, and I'm trying to upload a picture for you to see, but once again, my computer is being way stupid. Oh and did I mention that we're going on tour to California in a couple of weeks? Thus the... 20 days until, 19 days until, etc. We're going to a bunch of amazing places including Disneyland, Wicked, and the Tolerance Museum. I can't wait!

My Crazy Week!

It's been a wild week. I finished all Pre-Cal and Honor's English Tests this week, and I'm getting ready for finals next week. (AARRRG! END OF TERM!) Anyway, it's been Make-a-Wish this week. This year SHS is working to raise money for a little girl. I don't exactly remember what she has, but she is the third girl in her family to receive a wish. (Sad!) At the assembly on Friday, I got the oppurtunity (with a bunch of other girls) to cut my hair and donate it to "Locks of Love." I donated about 8 inches and after we styled it I had lost about 11 inches. I missed my hair until I heard the little kids at the assemblies talking about their lives and their wishes. (It was SO worth it!)
That night we went to the baptism of a former Drill girl. She was completely glowing! It was so awesome to see the whole Drill Team supporting her. I'm so proud of you Cameron! By the end of the baptism, the football game had already started. We raced to the high school, and got ready. We didn't really feel like performing hip hop after such a beautiful baptism. It was our best run through, and we play again on Tuesday (AAAARRRGGGH!) We finished out the night at Bre's house watching Transformers and eating Two Jack's breadsticks! (That's the Drill Team for ya!)
Sadies was on Saturday, and I had so much fun!

Sadies!

This was Sadies! Chelsea, Ben, Mike, and Me. We started the night out at my house. Chelsea and I decorated the dining room like a "Pirate's Lair" and ate yummy, yummy food! (Thanks mom!) We then had a pumpkin carving contest. Ben...I still think Mike and I won! We went to the dance after that and had so much fun! When we were done at the dance we headed back to Chels' house and ate desert. The view was so pretty from her window.
